Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 September 2026

1. Who we are

Racys Architectural and Interior Photography is a trading name of Daugirdas Tomas Racys / LongLensPhotography (“we”, “us”, “our”), an architectural and interior photography business. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

  • Correspondence address: LongLensPhotography, Unit 36403, PO Box 6945, London, W1A 6US
  • Contact form: https://racys.co.uk/contact/

This policy explains what we collect when you use racys.co.uk or work with us, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We handle your information in line with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

2. What we collect

Information you give us

When you make an enquiry or book us, we collect your name, email address, telephone number and anything else you choose to tell us, such as what you need photographed, preferred dates and the location. If we work together we will also hold booking and payment records.

Photographs

Our work photographs buildings and interiors, not people. A building can still identify its owner or occupier, so we treat client names, addresses and project details as confidential, and we only publish a project with the client’s agreement. On the rare occasion someone is identifiable in a photograph, we treat that image as personal information about them.

Information collected automatically

If you consent to analytics cookies, we receive information about how you use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. This comes through Google Analytics 4. Nothing analytical is collected until you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies in full.

With the same consent, we also use Microsoft Clarity, which records a playback of your visit: the pages you move through, where you scroll, what you click, and where your mouse or finger moves. We use those recordings, and the heatmaps built from them, to find parts of the site that are confusing or broken.

Clarity masks the text you type into forms by default, so what you enter in our contact form is not captured in a recording. We do not use it to identify you and we do not try to link a recording to a named person. Microsoft uses this data under its own terms as well as processing it for us.

We describe this data as pseudonymised rather than anonymous. It does not carry your name, but it does include identifiers that could in principle be linked back to you, so we still treat it as personal information.

Security and server records

Our host and our security software record IP addresses and request details to protect the site from attack and abuse. These records are kept briefly and are not used to build any profile of you.

What we do not do

We do not buy personal information from data brokers, list vendors or directories. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We do not use automated decision making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Children

Our services are aimed at businesses and adults, and we do not aim our website or marketing at children. We do not knowingly collect information about children through this website. If you believe we hold information about a child, use the contact form at https://racys.co.uk/contact/ and we will remove it.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Analytics cookies are only set if you agree through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the consent link on the site.

Full details, including cookie names and how long each lasts, are in our Cookie Policy.

7. Sending information outside the UK

9. Keeping it safe

10. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • be told how we use your information, which is what this policy is for
  • get a copy of the information we hold about you
  • have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete
  • have it deleted in certain circumstances, sometimes called the right to be forgotten
  • restrict how we use it while a concern is looked into
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
  • receive it in a portable format where processing is based on consent or contract and is automated
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To use any of these rights, use the contact form at https://racys.co.uk/contact/. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

11. Other websites

Our site links to other websites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their own policies before sharing anything with them.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where a change is significant we will say so on the website.
